Groups
The VT faculty and graduate students are engaged in the advancement of nuclear science and engineering. Currently, the main areas of education and research are particle transport methods, reactor physics, radiation shielding, thermal hydraulics and reactor safety, and nuclear materials and chemistry. The main research groups are VT3G, MFTL, and NMCF.
